Deijahn; The picture of Mary

In the Sacrament Strand I learned that the picture of Mary is a  holy object because she is the mother of Jesus.

Deijahn, The beach is a holy place.

In the Sacrament Strand I learned that the beach is a holy place because God made it for us to enjoy by swimming in it and catching fish.

Deijahn, My aunty's birthday

On the weekend my family and I went to the Sky Tower for dinner because it was my aunty's birthday. She turned 50.

We had some delicious food. I had some crispy fish and chips. I had chocolate ice cream for dessert. It was creamy and delicious. 

We all had a really great time at the party.

In Social Skills I learnt that showing respect means saying nice things to others, using positive language, taking turns, speaking pleasantly to others, following the school rules and the classroom rules and playing nicely at the park. Room 2 children and I were taking turns on the slide.

• jelly crystal
• hot water
• cold water

what to do:

Step 1.   Put the jelly crystal in a bowl

Step 2.   Pour in 2 cups of hot water

Step 3.   Stir

Step 4.  Put it in the fridge 

Step 5.  Leave it to set

On Saturday my family and I went to the Ice Skating in the city. 

First I put on my ice skating shoes. Then I went on the ice. The ice was slippery and cold. I used a Frame to stop me from falling. I went around in a circle. It was fun.

We all had a great time.

Did you know that being nice to others actually be good for you.

My mum always tells me to be nice. Sometimes I do it and sometimes I do not do it. When I share and care, other children will like to play with me. They will ask me to be their friends. They will show respect to me. They will invite me to come to their house. 

When I am mean to others they will not come near me. Then I will be lonely and have no friends.

Yesterday Giselle, Tyrah and I played soccer at the playground. It was our favourite game.

First Giselle ran fast like a train. She kicked the ball to Tyrah. She ran fast like a speeding car. Tyrah kicked the ball to me. Then I ran fast. I kicked the the ball hard. Finally the ball went into the goal. 

We all had a great time.
